I left the corporate world on 7/21/17 to help showcase Nature for Mother Nature fans. I did not arrive easily at this decision as my corporate job paid well and included amazing benefits. The one benefit I was not easily allowed was the time to immediately pursue any and all wild events happening any and all moments of every day throughout my environment. I know it would have helped me greatly to see more Nature during the work week, so that is what I’ve set out to bring to you. Have a great day, thanks for visiting!
"Bad Things"

The truth is that a lot of bad things have been happening in the world. The worst of all of it is probably the absolute lack of communication even between the basic family fabric. Today we have things like “social media” where we can, in a “socially acceptable way”, point out the best and worst things among one another.
Not very long ago my father burned down his parents’ home. He was going to set fire to himself as well. The first responders helped thwart his plans, but while he was in rehab (for starting something new, meth use in his 70’s) his own siblings “kidnapped” him from an adult care facility with the help of my cousin.
My cousin was the former mayor of a small town where he and my dad (and several other relatives) live(d). In short, with my cousin’s mayoral connections and with his family who is currently making unusual moves, my dad no longer owns the property he once did. I am an only child. When my dad was robbed, I was surprised.
Fast forward to 2024 and very recently I was invited to the graduation of a younger cousin of mine. As the celebration date approached, I was suddenly “uninvited” by my dad’s sister, one of the aunts who helped “kidnap” my father from his adult care facility rehab effort. To this day our communication has been challenged.
I have two forms of “social” media, YouTube and LinkedIn. In both cases I may not be using the platforms exactly as they were intended, OR I am using them exactly how they were intended. While these options are available I thought I’d showcase what I see in the world hoping my parents will begin to communicate again.
Whatever the case, I am proud to have the chance to use the things I was entrusted to in order to showcase what is happening in real life for this very real soul seeking (and saving?) adventure.
